Our teams are our greatest asset, and we are committed to employing and training the best people. NZCL is looking for energetic and motivated individuals to support people in their own homes.

We are looking for part-time Support Workers in the Auckland region for our Whanau Support Services.

What does a Support Worker do? - He aha te mahi a te Kaimahi Tautoko?

You will support people in their home and community to lead fulfilling and meaningful lives by helping them achieve their personal dreams and goals through activities such as swimming, attending sporting events, arts and crafts, movies, or shopping - the list is endless

Who are we looking for? - Ko wai ta tatou e rapu ana?
  • People who are passionate about helping others, kind, and understanding
  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred, including experience working with youth
  • Full driver's licence and owning your own vehicle is essential
  • A desire to support people to learn new skills and achieve outcomes
  • Somebody who has the initiative to encourage people towards their goals, is energetic, outgoing, and can think outside the box. You need to be respectful of others' thinking and their way of living that may be different from your own

Empathy, respect, and cultural awareness are important in this role as the people we support come from diverse backgrounds with varying needs and interests.
