About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic, team-focused Healthcare Assistant to join our Ward 3A team. This position is rostered and involves rotating shift patterns including weekends and nights.

About the Team/Service/Location

Our team in Ward 3A is committed to providing excellent care in a busy 30-bed surgical ward. We emphasize the importance of teamwork with all staff and provide a supportive and positive environment to utilize and extend your clinical skills.

About You

Ideally, candidates will have:

  • Recent Health Care experience
  • Commitment to working in a team
  • Ability to follow direction
  • Adaptability and flexibility
  • Motivation and commitment to self-directed learning
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Driver's license
  • Preferred to have completed Healthcare Assistant or Health Support training or a NZQA approved National Certificate of the Older Person (level 3) or the National Certificate in Community Support Service (level 3)
