Within the same facility, Haumaru Ōrite also houses a specialist three-bedded Mother and Baby Unit which provides inpatient care to people living in Waitemata, Auckland, Counties Manukau, and Northland. It is located on level one of Starship Children's Hospital.

Minimum Requirements

  1. Be a NZ registered Nurse with a minimum of five years post-registration mental health experience. Level 4 PDRP is preferred; however, we will consider Level 3 and working towards Level 4.
  2. Have the relevant post-graduate mental health qualification or be working towards this qualification. Previous experience in clinical coaching or mentoring is also desirable.
  3. Understand bicultural issues and have a commitment to achieving equitable outcomes for Māori.

If you possess these essential skills and qualifications, we encourage you to apply for the position.
