Kio Kio School is seeking a passionate & dedicated senior school classroom Teacher to join our innovative and dynamic rural school.

Role overview:

As a senior room teacher, you will:

  1. Inspire young learners and nurture a love for learning.
  2. Instil and promote our POWER values throughout your teaching.
  3. Collaborate with a dedicated team of educators to create a positive and engaging learning environment.
  4. Teach structured literacy & numeracy programmes.

Management unit/s available to the right candidate who will:

  1. Organise, manage & lead whole school PE & sports events & teams.
  2. Ability to lead other curriculum areas.

Successful candidates will have:

  1. Strong up-to-date knowledge of the New Zealand Curriculum of phases.
  2. A commitment to teamwork and collaboration.
  3. High expectations for student achievement, progress and outcomes.
  4. A strength in Te Reo Māori is a bonus.
