Seeking an Occupational Therapist with a passion for brain injury rehabilitation to be part of this dynamic MDT community team in Wellington

Join this leading provider in brain injury rehabilitation, offering a comprehensive range of services including post-acute, residential, in-patient and community-based rehabilitation for clients with multi-trauma, concussion, and traumatic brain injury. What You Need To Do
  1. Deliver Comprehensive Rehabilitation: Provide end-to-end care for clients in home, workplace, school, and clinic settings, focusing on supporting them to regain independence.
  2. Collaborate and Communicate: Work closely with the interdisciplinary team and maintain strong communication with clients and their families/whanau.
  3. Contribute to Service Development: Engage in ongoing professional development, participate in creating NZ practice guidelines, and take advantage of opportunities for student supervision.
  4. Work ethic: Ability to work autonomously in the community and effectively manage your own diary and KPIs.
What You Need To Have
  1. Professional Qualifications: Must have a current practicing certificate and full professional body membership.
  2. Experience: Min 2yrs experience, ideally working with clients with neurological injuries; experience working with ACC contracts including return to work, Vocational and Concussion desirable, but not essential.
  3. Personal Attributes: A warm, empathetic approach, a passion for making a positive impact, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
