Each Tangata will have high risk individual care requirements, and you will support them with all elements of daily living such as:

  1. Palliative cares
  2. Dementia
  3. Mental health
  4. Medication
  5. Level 3 and level 4 Health and Wellbeing Certificate (recognised in NZ)
  6. Spinal injury experience
  7. Use of full, standing and two-person hoist
  8. Experience administering prescribed medication
  9. Understand and respect for the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and bi-cultural approach
  10. Full/restricted driver's license
  11. Be available to work every second weekend
  12. Be willing to start work at 7am
  13. Provide flexibility to sleepover or wakeover

$1.00 per hour extra in your pay for weekend work

Our Kaiāwhina Skills Framework training takes place during your first two – four weeks of employment and is a mixture of practical training, online self-directed learning, and working with a buddy trainer.

Gain qualifications which are competency based and Industry recognised though our partners Careerforce, subsidised by us.

Level 3 $26.94 (For holders of level 3 health and wellbeing qualification or equivalent)

Level 4 $29.10 (For holders of level 4 health and wellbeing qualification or equivalent)
