Each Tangata will have high risk individual care requirements, and you will support them with all elements of daily living such as:
- Palliative cares
- Dementia
- Mental health
- Medication
- Level 3 and level 4 Health and Wellbeing Certificate (recognised in NZ)
- Spinal injury experience
- Use of full, standing and two-person hoist
- Experience administering prescribed medication
- Understand and respect for the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and bi-cultural approach
- Full/restricted driver's license
- Be available to work every second weekend
- Be willing to start work at 7am
- Provide flexibility to sleepover or wakeover
$1.00 per hour extra in your pay for weekend work
Our Kaiāwhina Skills Framework training takes place during your first two – four weeks of employment and is a mixture of practical training, online self-directed learning, and working with a buddy trainer.
Gain qualifications which are competency based and Industry recognised though our partners Careerforce, subsidised by us.
Level 3 $26.94 (For holders of level 3 health and wellbeing qualification or equivalent)
Level 4 $29.10 (For holders of level 4 health and wellbeing qualification or equivalent)
