Mō te tūranga - About the role

As a Banking Consultant in our Personal Banking Branch Network - this role is that are based mainly in branches, providing customers with a seamless banking experience, through meeting each customer's end-to-end financial needs and goals across transaction activities, needs based conversations and educating them on the financial solutions available, including digital. They have the knowledge required to complete customer transactions, as well as have in-depth needs based conversations and fulfil products as per their accreditation level. They will deliver a high standard of customer service to ensure customers are not only satisfied, but strong advocates for ANZ.

As a Banking Consultant, you will have the opportunity to:

  1. Provide our customers with a seamless branch experience by meeting each customer's end-to-end banking needs across transaction activities, needs-based conversations and educating them on digital solutions.
  2. Be part of a collaborative team and act as a role model and peer coach to deliver the best possible customer experience.
  3. Contribute to a significant uplift in customer engagement and advocacy, and create real customer value.
  4. Actively participate in and support bank programs and initiatives.
  5. Take responsibility to 'know your customer' from a risk perspective.
  6. Ensure compliance with ANZ and branch policies and procedures.

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

  1. Exceptional customer focus - retail experience is an advantage.
  2. Experience in being a user and promoter of technology - working knowledge in using different digital channels is an advantage.
  3. Ability to multi-task and highly adaptable to change and ambiguity.
  4. Willingness to work in a collaborative team environment.
  5. Sound understanding of compliance.
  6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
