The Role:

As an Intermediate or Senior Accountant, you'll be a key player in delivering high-quality financial services and support to a diverse client base. Your work will involve preparing financial statements, tax returns, and advising clients on accounting best practices. The firm is known for empowering its accountants to provide personalized service, so you'll have the chance to build meaningful relationships with clients and support their financial goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparing financial statements and tax returns for a variety of clients
  • Providing advisory services on accounting best practices and compliance
  • Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
  • Supporting the team with complex accounting issues and projects
  • Building strong relationships with clients and offering tailored advice
What You'll Bring:
  • A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
  • CA or CPA qualification (or working towards it)
  • Proven experience in an accounting role, with a good understanding of New Zealand tax and compliance requirements
  • Strong communication skills and a client-focused approach
  • Proficiency with accounting software and the ability to adapt to new technologies
