About The Role

In this role, you'll be responsible for coordinating daily glacier guiding operations, managing schedules, and ensuring seamless communication between guiding teams, helicopter pilots, and base staff. You'll also oversee rostering, provide operational insights to leadership, and support environmental sustainability initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Coordinate guiding operations from Te Ao Mārama Glacier Base, adapting to weather, staffing, and operational changes
  2. Manage daily schedules and rosters, ensuring efficient trip coverage and guide assignments
  3. Liaise with helicopter pilots and guiding teams to maintain clear communication and smooth logistics
  4. Monitor trip capacities and business demand, contributing to operational planning and financial forecasting
  5. Support customer service teams to provide a seamless, friendly, and efficient experience
  6. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, incident reporting, and operational policies
  7. Contribute to sustainability projects, including Predator Free initiatives and environmental conservation
