What will you be doing?

As a Product Owner, you play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between product strategy and development, supporting & maintaining the core product backlogs across our core digital space, working closely with EIS, Digital Journey, Customer Communications & Integration squads.

Dive into the Heart of Your Responsibilities:

  1. Backlog Management: Maximize product value by managing the product backlogs. Organize sprints and ensure timely delivery.
  2. Product Clarity: Provide clarity and detail necessary for successful product development.
  3. Product Backlog Grooming: Build and groom the product backlog.
  4. Conflict Resolution: Strong ability to manage roadblocks and conflicts, leading to resolution to keep delivery on track.
  5. Collaborate with Core & Journey Product Owners, Practice Leads, delivery coaches and project managers to ensure effective delivery of Tower's group KPIs.
  6. Role model the tower ways of working, engaging with all squads/members to support a creative, collaborative, and high-performance environment.
  7. Support strategic planning of our portfolio initiatives in collaboration with the Transformation Office, Project Managers, Product Owners and Business Owners.
  8. Support the smooth running of the release trains, including facilitating optimal delivery and release sequencing of the prioritised features from business squads, balanced by the delivery of technical debt, platform maintenance and improvements.
  9. Ensure enhancements follow agreed architecture guidelines, keep the integrity of the insurance lifecycle, do not introduce unnecessary workarounds/processes between channels.
  10. Enable level 3 support to IT operational teams, including Product & Pricing, to ensure day to day functioning of the platform.

What you'll need

  1. Experience as a Product Owner or demonstrated interest and research of the role.
  2. Understanding of Agile practices.
  3. An understanding of the Insurance industry.
  4. Confident communicator with exceptional stakeholder management skills.
