We're looking for an experienced Senior Autoglass Technician (Leading Hand) at Smith&Smith Queenstown, where you'll lead the day-to-day management of vehicle glass repair, replacement, and recalibration services. Team up with the Area Manager to ensure our branch operates seamlessly, delivering top-notch customer experiences. Inspire and guide your team's growth through regular coaching and feedback, all while maintaining the authenticity of our brand.   • Location: Smith&Smith Queenstown (Frankton)
  • Hours: 40 hours, rostered across the week.

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 3 years' work experience as Technician, experience with Auto repair, replacement and ADAS calibration.
  • NCEA Level 2 in English and Math or equivalent.
  • Fluent English with clear and excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Read, comprehend and follow instructions.
  • Proficient at using and learning new technology.
  • Ability to lead and collaborate well with the team, ensuring smooth daily operations.
  • Adept at providing regular coaching and feedback, recognising strengths and supporting improvement.
  • Commitment to our brand's authenticity, ensuring every customer has a positive experience.
  • A hands-on expert in automotive glass repair, dedicated to quality work and enthusiastic about promoting our value-added products and services.
  • A clean full driver's licence is required.
  • Must have complete, unrestricted rights to work in New Zealand.
