About The Opportunity

As a Field Service and Assembly Mechanic, the successful applicant will undertake the assembly, installation, servicing, and repairs to a range of conveyors, drive over receival decks, and augers. This role will involve travelling around the agriculture regions within NSW, QLD, VIC, and SA or spending time at the manufacturing facility in Dalby completing assembly work.

This is a full-time permanent position with above award wages + overtime rates + all field work expenses paid including vehicle + tools + equipment supplied for field work. There is an outstanding opportunity to earn with much overtime on offer.

About You

The successful candidate will have:

  • Sound knowledge of mechanical principles and equipment
  • Ability to maintain accurate and timely records
  • Current Drivers Licence (Class MR preferred)
  • Able to travel for periods from days to weeks
  • Experience with mig and stick welding
  • High quality standards and detail

Beneficial Attributes:

  • Previous experience in agricultural machinery
  • Familiarity with conveyors, hydraulic circuits, auto electrics, and engines 10hp to 160hp
