Nurse Prescriber

Tend has 4 clinics across Tauranga-Greerton, South City, Papamoa & Bethlehem. We are looking for a nurse prescriber to work at the top of their scope.
We aim to provide a great experience and high level of service while improving the health of our patients, supported by the latest technology, innovations, and a great practice culture.
Our nurse team of 15 operates at the top of their scope and works alongside an experienced and supportive GP team.
We are looking for an experienced Nurse to join our friendly team permanently, ideally 4 days or more.
We provide our Nurses with:
- Development opportunities including postgraduate study & external courses
- APC reimbursement (annual)
- Indemnity insurance reimbursement (annual)
- Mentoring and support
- Supportive working environment.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Registered with the Nursing Council of NZ and hold a current practice certificate
- Prescriber scope of practice
- CPR level 4
- Strong triage and health assessment skills
- The ability to prioritise, with a high attention to detail
- Intermediate computer skills
- Well-developed interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with our patients, staff, and clients.
Preferred additional qualifications and experience:
- 2+ years as a practice nurse
- Experience with managing diabetes and other chronic diseases.
