Redpath Partners are working in collaboration with a national builder who have created a new role within their business due to a secure pipeline of work within the region. With a strong reputation in the industry for delivering projects within government, aged-care, retail and commercial they're a business with a diverse range of clients and portfolio of projects.

Role

You'll be joining the project following the initial civil works and working closely with an outstanding Project Manager to co-ordinate all on-site activities alongside a well-established team of subcontractors.

The responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Ensuring full site compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations
  • Leading subcontractors and promoting a positive site culture
  • Coordinating construction activities to meet programme timelines
  • Monitoring quality assurance and conducting site audits using digital tools (e.g. Procore & BIM)
  • Supporting the Project Manager with planning, reporting, and subcontractor coordination
  • Working proactively to resolve site issues and keep projects moving forward

Requirements

Experience working for a contractor in NZ or AUS (Delivering vertical construction), – must have a minimum of 5 years construction experience to be considered

  • Trade qualified (additional qualifications i.e. Diploma in Construction Management is beneficial)
  • Proven track record of delivering related projects
  • Established subcontractors' relationships within the region
  • Capable programmer, can create a 2 – 4 week look ahead
  • Experience utilising Procore, Microsoft Office and ideally BIM
  • Progressive and collaborative mindset
  • Driven and willing to be part of a growing team
