About the role:
We are currently seeking an experienced Account Manager to join a highly dynamic, successful, and motivated team based in New Zealand. Reporting to the Business Unit Head - Australia and New Zealand, this role will require you to promote new and existing medical devices, enteral feeding tubes and consumables into public and private hospitals throughout the south territory within New Zealand.
Specifically, you will be responsible for:
- Managing a portfolio of key and strategic customer relationships
- Leading cross functional internal teams to configure complex and tailored customer service solutions.
- Negotiating commercial agreements with the customers
- Working collaboratively with other departments to build strong customer relationships.
- Customer prospecting, including developing relationship management plans for strategic potential accounts.
- Maintaining Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Data
- Maintaining high level of operational compliance
- Assisting in other territories as required for evaluations and implementations of devices.
In this exciting role, you will be responsible for planning and implementing sales for the Infusion and Nutrition Systems portfolio by managing existing major accounts, developing relationships, identifying opportunities, account management and continued expansion of our Infusion and Nutrition Devices portfolio throughout the north territory within New Zealand.
This requires a hands-on approach across a wide area of accounts in multiple locations across the South territory of New Zealand to achieve sales and profit targets within the INS portfolio.
We have a team approach to sales and support so you may be required to assist across Australia and New Zealand as required.
This role requires full knowledge of the portfolio and its applications, along with a strong understanding of the customer's objectives and challenges.

What we are looking for:
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant health related or business discipline
- A minimum of 3-5 years medical devices, or enteral nutrition, sales experience in the public and private hospital environment
- Proven track record of sales growth into the healthcare system
- A team player with strong leadership and management skills
- Current Driver's Licence and the willingness to travel within New Zealand, and occasional travel to Australia as required.
