Chubb New Zealand is looking for a skilled and energetic person with relevant qualifications or experience in the Fire industry to service Fire Alarm Systems.

To be successful in this role you must have the following attributes:

  1. Proven fire alarm experience, preferably NZQA Certificate in Fire Detection and Alarm Systems (Level 4)
  2. A high knowledge of fire alarm products/services and relevant industry standards
  3. Ability to manage your own time and commitments
  4. High degree of personal and professional standards
  5. Be a great team player

The main responsibilities of this role are:

  1. Daily service work and completion of small projects
  2. Testing/surveying of fire protection systems and equipment on company customer premises to a high degree of quality & efficiency for customer and company to meet Chubb Standards and NZ Regulatory Industry Standards
  3. Identify defects, service, and repair of systems and equipment
  4. Be on a rostered on call after hours service
