About the Role

We are seeking a Project & Property Manager to oversee small work projects and property operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction project management, contractor coordination, and property maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

Project & Construction Management:

  • Lead small work projects from site assessment and design to completion.
  • Review technical drawings and create comprehensive work packages.
  • Manage project timelines, workflows, and long-lead items.
  • Oversee construction progress meetings and investigations.

Stakeholder & Contractor Management:

  • Maintain strong client and tenant relationships, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
  • Act as the main point of contact for tenant inquiries.
  • Negotiate and manage vendor contracts to ensure quality service within budget.
  • Supervise contractors and service providers for maintenance and repairs.

Property & Facilities Management:

  • Oversee property operations, ensuring efficient maintenance and CAPEX planning.
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations.
  • Implement and manage property operating procedures.

Reporting & Administration:

  • Provide regular updates on property conditions, maintenance activities, and budgets.
  • Manage financial planning, compliance, and contract administration.
  • Prepare proposals, work plans, and financial reports.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Strong leadership and project management skills.
  • Experience in construction, facilities management, or property maintenance.
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to manage budgets, contracts, and compliance requirements.

Key Skills & Attributes

Knowledge & Skills:

  • General construction knowledge with a willingness to learn.
  • Construction qualification (e.g., Engineering, Quantity Surveying) is desirable.
  • Understanding of workplace safety practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Project (experience with MYBOS, Frankie, SimpPro is a plus).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving, multitasking, and time management skills.
  • Logical thinker with a methodical approach to work.
