This is an internationally renowned firm providing Risk Advisory, Business Advisory Services, Audit, Tax and Corporate Finance services to their clients. Based in a great location in the CBD the offices give you easy access to multiple public transport options and great shops / cafes.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring the team's operational, business and conduct risks are managed effectively.
  • Developing, implementing and monitoring risk and control frameworks, key risk metrics, and risk policies.
  • Advising the business on the financial reporting processes and controls.
  • Leading control assurance programs.
  • Providing insightful risk reporting to executives and governance committees.

The ideal candidate

  • Experience of 4-6+ years in an established NZ Accounting practice at a supervisory/reviewer level
  • Solid working experience of internal audits and anti-money laundering
  • Strong knowledge of fraud risk and investigations
  • Stakeholder management and ability to communicate directly with clients
  • Experience in working with large scale and commercial businesses
  • Excellent leadership and Project management skills, with the ability to mentor, coach and motivate team members.
  • Sector coverage in financial services (banks, insurance, funds) would be advantageous but not compulsory
  • Past experience working in a time sheeting environment (CA or law firm)

With a broad client portfolio you'll be exposed to risk advisory work and direct client contact from day one.
