This is why Foxbridge Care Home located in Cambridge is searching for like-minded Cleaners to join our community. This is a great opportunity to work close to home, avoiding the hustle and bustle of city traffic, and working the hours that fit your schedule. This is a casual role, hence, there are no guaranteed weekly hours. It will be as per the requirement at the care home. The preferred candidate must be able to pick up available shifts.

As part of our Housekeeping team, you will help create a homely and healthy place for our residents by providing an exceptional cleaning service to the Care Home. You will help us rise to the challenges of enriching the lives of society's most vulnerable.

Where You Will Make an Impact

  • Maintain a high standard of cleaning as set out on the cleaning schedule.
  • Manage cleaning supplies.
  • Meet daily schedule to ensure that residents' rooms and public areas are in perfect order, reporting any faults or issues to the Household supervisor.
  • Adhere to Health & Safety policies, procedures, and safe chemical use and storage.
  • Treat residents with respect and dignity.

What About You

  • Previous cleaning experience in a similar environment is preferable.
  • Be prepared to roll up your sleeves and get stuck into whatever needs to get done.
  • Demonstrate enthusiasm, care, and passion for making a difference in our residents' lives.
  • Must have flexible availability for a variety of shifts throughout the week, including weekends and evenings.
  • Reliable transport or travel arrangements.
  • Applicants must be legally entitled to work in NZ.
