Description:

As a Driver - Class 4 at golddemosite21, located in Christchurch within the Operations department, you will play a crucial role in supporting our daily operations. This permanent, full-time position falls under the category of Administration & Office Support.

Responsibilities:

  1. Safely operate and drive Class 4 vehicles to transport goods and materials to and from specified locations.
  2. Adhere to all relevant road transport regulations and company policies to ensure the safety of both yourself and others.
  3. Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, reporting any maintenance or mechanical issues promptly.
  4. Efficiently load and unload cargo while maintaining proper documentation for all transported items.
  5. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other drivers to coordinate delivery schedules and address any concerns.
Main Tasks:
  1. Drive Class 4 vehicles in a safe, lawful manner, following designated routes and time schedules.
  2. Conduct regular checks on the vehicle's condition and maintenance requirements, taking appropriate action as needed.
  3. Handle loading and unloading processes carefully to prevent damage to goods or materials being transported.
  4. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery notes, timesheets, fuel purchases, and mileage logs.
  5. Collaborate with colleagues to ensure efficient operations while upholding high standards of customer service.

Skills and Experiences:
