Job Description

The Opportunity:

We are seeking an Oral Health Therapist or Dental Hygienist to join our team at New Plymouth Dental. As one of our Oral Health Therapist or Hygienists, you'll play a pivotal role in maintaining the oral health well-being of our community. You will be responsible for providing top-notch hygiene services and education around oral health, as well as promoting preventative care.

  • Up to 4 days a week: Monday - Thursday 8.30am to 5pm (3-day weekend)
  • Competitive compensation based on experience - either commission-based or hourly rate can be discussed.
  • Relocation fee on offer (T&Cs apply).

Qualifications

About You:

  • At least 1+ year experience in Hygiene and/or Oral Health.
  • Outstanding communication skills for patient education and rapport-building.
  • A natural team spirit and a genuine interest in contributing to the warmth of the team.
  • Exceptional attention to detail in all aspects of clinical practice.
  • Hold unrestricted Oral Health Therapist or equivalent registration with the Dental Council New Zealand, as well as a current Annual Practicing Certificate (or able to obtain).
