We are seeking an experienced Financial Reporting Manager to step into this 12-month fixed-term contract, taking over from one of their top performers

About the Role:

You will be responsible for ensuring statutory and regulatory compliance, managing the annual audit, preparing annual financial statements, and offering technical accounting advice to support the broader finance team. You will also play a key role in managing compliance with tax regulations and internal controls while driving efficiencies within the finance function.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  1. Leading the annual external financial reporting process
  2. Managing external audits, liaising with auditors and regulators
  3. Providing technical accounting advice for new transactions and projects
  4. Overseeing tax compliance, ensuring timely and accurate submissions
  5. Ensuring compliance and regulatory reporting is completed accurately and on time
  6. Preparing and reviewing management reports and financial analysis, providing insights to senior management
  7. Ensuring balance sheet reconciliations are accurate and timely
  8. Maintaining and improving financial controls and processes

What We're Looking For:

  1. A strong technical accounting background
  2. Proven expertise in IFRS application and statutory financial reporting
  3. CA/CPA qualification or equivalent
  4. Experience managing external audits and compliance reporting
  5. Strong leadership skills, with a track record of developing high-performing teams
  6. Proficiency in Excel, with exposure to Power BI and Microsoft Dynamics 365 would be advantageous
  7. Desirable: Experience in property development or a related industry
  8. Big 4 experience would be an advantage
