Mō te Tūranga | About the Role

In this key leadership position, you will have the opportunity to:

  1. Lead the development and implementation of an enterprise architecture strategy aligned with our strategic objectives. Mitigate against outcomes that do not deliver benefit, cause unacceptable levels of disruption, or increase risk to SkyCity.
  2. Serve as a strategic advisor on technology and digital transformation initiatives, translating business goals into actionable roadmaps.
  3. Perform an active role in architecture governance to ensure the successful delivery of initiatives across SkyCity. Review, update, and introduce frameworks as required to ensure consistency, security, and scalability across the organisation.
  4. Collaborate closely with senior leadership across the business.
  5. Stay ahead of industry trends, incorporating emerging technologies to innovate and enhance business outcomes. Ensure that security considerations are integrated into all aspects of the enterprise architecture, from design to implementation.
Mōu | About You

We're looking for someone with a unique blend of leadership, technical expertise, and exceptional communication skills. The ability to work as a technical liaison and advisor between several internal organisations, including Systems, ICT infrastructure, Product Management, Service Owners and other key stakeholders. The ability to interpret business and technical requirements based on varying drivers / constituents including clients, internal stakeholders and product plans. You'll have a solid generalist background across multiple technologies, strategy, and business architecture, backed by over a decade of industry experience. Your approach to IT delivery is pragmatic, and you're well-versed in best practices that drive results. You're a natural communicator, capable of bridging the gap between technical teams and business leaders, ensuring everyone is aligned on the strategic vision. You'll have an ability to think about the short and long term organisational impacts when making decisions and providing advice as well as hold yourself with a high level of integrity and professional standards.
