About the Job
We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Community Registered Nurse. As a Community Key Worker, you will manage a caseload of whaiora (clients), providing them with the mental health support they need to achieve wellness. Your job will involve:
- Providing clinical support and interventions for mental health recovery
- Delivering a range of interventions and treatments to support clients on their journey to wellness
- Leading and guiding support workers, ensuring effective care delivery and maintaining clinical standards
- Engaging with clients in the community
- Perform triage duties, conduct depot injections, and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team
About You
- Registered Nurse - Current NCNZ registration with a current APC
- Mental Health Experience - previous experience in community mental health, ideally in a community or outpatient setting
- Clinical Expertise - strong skills in conducting assessments, managing treatment plans, and providing clinical leadership
- Community minded - committed to working in the community, helping whaiora achieve better mental health outcomes
- Cultural Competence - understanding and alignment with kaupapa Māori principles in healthcare delivery, including aroha, manaakitanga, and whanaungatanga
- Resilience and Problem Solving - Able to handle complex and sometimes challenging cases, demonstrating empathy and resilience in providing support
- Drivers License - A clean, full driver's licence is required
- New Zealand resident (or hold a valid New Zealand work visa).
