With a strong history of success and a portfolio worth over $400 million, they are well-positioned for further growth.

My client is seeking a strategic and results-driven professional to enhance their investor relations, drive capital growth, and play a pivotal role in their ongoing success. This Investor Relations Manager will be based in Christchurch and will have a national remit.

As an Investor Relations Manager, you will:
  1. Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing wholesale and high-net-worth investors.
  2. Proactively network and attract new investors to their funds.
  3. Assist in developing and executing investor engagement strategies, including events, communications, and marketing initiatives.
  4. Convert investor interest into fundraising opportunities for existing and new funds.
  5. Provide an exceptional customer experience, ensuring all investor inquiries and onboarding processes are handled efficiently.
  6. Prepare compelling presentations, investment materials, and reports to communicate key propositions.
  7. Collaborate closely with internal teams to align fundraising strategies with business objectives.
  8. Travel as required to meet investors and attend industry events.
To succeed in this role, you will have:
  1. Proven experience in financial services, investment management, or a related field.
  2. A strong understanding of financial products and investment strategies, ideally you will have some exposure to commercial real estate.
  3. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with high-net-worth individuals.
  4. A self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently and drive results.
  5. High proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, and financial reporting tools.
  6. A keen eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple relationships effectively.
  7. Knowledge of AML and compliance processes (or the ability to quickly learn).
