Mō te Tūranga | About the Role
Reporting to the Head of Relationships Agribusiness, you will manage a cohort of Agribusiness Relationship Managers and be instrumental in developing and embedding a strong team culture. You will manage workflow and capacity whilst building capability, both technical and soft skills, ensuring you role model change whilst ensuring activities and behaviours are at the required level.

As the face of Westpac Agribusiness and Westpac in the southland graphic regions of responsibility, you will work closely with the Head of Relationships on strategies and leading the execution of these. Exceptional leadership will see you manage Risk and Compliance disciplines, people KPI's and be responsible for performance management, recruitment, development and succession planning for the region.

You are an exceptional people leader with demonstrated success in motivating people to do their best, with the ability to create a team culture with a growth mindset. You can mobilise a workforce to achieve best customer outcomes utilising remote working tools across a geographically spread team. In addition, you will have:
  1. The ability to recognise areas of opportunity, to adapt and innovate and to drive productivity improvements is imperative.
  2. Experience and sound knowledge of product and pricing, compliance, credit risk, and profit and loss management.
  3. Exceptional interpersonal and networking skills ensure you have a strong presence in the relevant markets and can communicate with credibility across a high level of senior stakeholder management.
