About the Opportunity

Teaching, Assessment and Curriculum Development

• Design and deliver engaging lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions in programming, cybersecurity, networking, and/or web/software development
• Develop and maintain curriculum content that reflects current industry trends and technological advances
• Create effective assessment methods that evaluate both theoretical knowledge and practical skills

Research and Scholarly Activity

• Conduct research in ICT fields and publish in peer-reviewed journals
• Engage in collaborative research projects with academic and industry partners
• Contribute to technological innovations and advancements in the field
• Present findings at academic conferences and industry events

Student Support

• Mentor and guide students in their academic and professional development
• Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate research projects
• Provide career guidance and industry insights
• Foster an inclusive learning environment that supports diverse student needs

What You Will Bring

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Master's degree or PhD in Information Technology or related field
• Preferably teaching experience in higher education or equivalent industry experience
• Proven track record in academic research or professional projects
• Strong publication history in peer-reviewed journals or significant industry contributions

Technical Skills

• Programming proficiency in languages such as Python, JavaScript, and C++
• Expertise in networking infrastructure, protocols, and cybersecurity practices
• Knowledge of web development (front-end/back-end) and database management
• Experience with current industry tools and technologies

Teaching and Research Capabilities

• Demonstrated ability to create engaging learning environments
• Experience in course design and e-learning platforms
• Strong research and analytical skills
• Excellent English communication skills
• Ability to work with students from diverse backgrounds
