Senior Commercial Analyst - Supply Chain

We're seeking a Senior Commercial Analyst to join our Commercial team; this is a 7-month fixed term opportunity based in either our Fanshawe Street or East Tamaki offices, with the flexibility to work from home in line with our hybrid working policy.

In this role, you'll work closely with a range of stakeholders to provide financial and commercial analysis and insights that enable better decision making and help manage business performance.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Partnering with the business by conducting analysis and providing commercial insights to enable decision making
  2. Supporting forecasting, planning, and reporting to deliver deep commercial insights and support our Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process
  3. Owning COGS forecasting and AOP submissions
  4. Submitting excise returns and performing balance sheet reconciliations
  5. Ensuring production and warehousing plants have correct bills of materials
  6. Conducting data manipulation and modelling, and preparing ad-hoc analysis to generate insights for decision making
  7. Identifying risks and opportunities to commercial performance
  8. Ensuring timely, accurate and insightful management of the P&L and Balance Sheet

We're looking for someone who's curious, collaborative, and always looking for new ways to learn and grow—both formally and through self-directed learning. You'll thrive on building strong relationships and providing commercial support that makes a real impact.

What you'll bring to the table:

  1. 2+ years of experience in a Commercial, Financial or Analytical role
  2. Strong data and analytical modelling skills
  3. Proven ability to use data to generate insights and influence decisions
  4. Demonstrated stakeholder management experience
  5. A knack for driving change and process improvements
  6. A team-oriented approach and a passion for connecting with others
  7. CA / CPA qualification (or working towards one)
