We are seeking an experienced, enthusiastic, passionate and committed teacher, whose recent teaching has been in NZ classrooms.

The successful applicant will have a caring disposition and be able to build strong relationships with students, whānau and colleagues. They will look to build on the strengths of students and believe that every child can thrive and grow. Experience with junior classes, knowledge of the NZ Curriculum and effective teaching that provides quality learning programmes for all students is essential, along with a sense of fun

This is an exciting opportunity to join a welcoming, supportive and future-focused school, with a commitment to professional learning. We are expecting this class to start at the beginning of term 3; however, if the successful candidate is able to, we may negotiate a start toward the end of term 2.

The terms and conditions, including base salary for this position are set by the Primary Teachers Collective Agreement. The base salary for trained and registered teachers will range from $61,329 to $103,086, depending on the applicant's qualifications and experience. The individual's actual base salary will be established by a salary assessment once a role is confirmed.
