Are you an organised, proactive, and detail-oriented admin professional looking for a rewarding role in the healthcare sector? We are seeking a Personal Assistant to support our General Manager in ensuring the smooth operation of Wakefield Hospital.
About the Role
As the Personal Assistant, you will be the right hand to the General Manager, providing high-level administrative support. You will manage schedules, coordinate meetings, handle confidential information, and ensure seamless communication across departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the General Manager's calendar, appointments, and travel arrangements
- Assist with staff recruitment and appointment processes overseen by the GM
- Prepare reports, presentations, and correspondence
- Coordinate meetings, take minutes, and follow up on action points
- Act as a liaison between the General Manager and internal/external stakeholders
- Arrange functions for managers, tenants and external parties as required by GM
- Support the GM to maintain positive relationships with consultants, staff and patients
- Handle confidential information with discretion

- Strong Attention to Detail: Whether drafting correspondence, preparing reports, or coordinating meetings, you take pride in accuracy and precision, ensuring that all tasks are executed flawlessly.
- Excellent Communication & Interpersonal Skills: You are a confident and professional communicator. You handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
- Tech-Savvy & Resourceful: You are proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and comfortable using digital tools to streamline workflows and enhance productivity.
- Self-Motivated & Proactive: You anticipate challenges and find solutions before they become problems. Your initiative and problem-solving skills allow you to work independently while supporting the General Manager effectively.
- Healthcare Experience (Bonus): While not required, experience in the healthcare sector is a plus, as it will help you navigate the unique demands of a hospital environment.
