ABOUT THE ROLE

You will be joining an experienced and friendly team managing projects in their entirety. You will be client-facing and will manage projects from around the Waikato or Bay of Plenty, and you can be based in either Hamilton, Rotorua, or Taupo. These will be a range of planned and reactive projects such as Transformer Installations, Emergency Lighting installs, and Street lighting upgrades.

Duties will include:

  • Planning programmes of work
  • All Health and Safety documentation and site auditing
  • Quality documentation collation and completion with site supervisor assistance
  • Managing financials for the projects and maintaining budgets
  • Monthly Forecasting
  • Identification, collation and submission of variations
  • Management of multi-skilled project teams

As the successful candidate you will have:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience managing multiple projects
  • Experience managing project financials ranging from $100K – $10M
  • Client-facing exposure on longer-term projects
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Be organised and a self-starter
  • Electrical industry experience preferred

This role is predominantly Monday to Friday; some weekend work might be necessary, and hours are dependent on the requirements of the client and the project programme. We offer a competitive salary with great benefits and the opportunity to work within a reputable global operation.
