Mō te tūnga | About the role:

We are seeking a Project Coordinator to support the safe and successful delivery of the (FAS) programme, providing essential project coordination, administrative support, and document control while collaborating closely with the FAS project team and wider Parliamentary Service.

  1. Support the FAS project delivery team with project coordination, administration, and documentation control to ensure best-in-class performance.
  2. Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among project stakeholders, including contractors and consultants, to maintain project information flow.
  3. Manage email and calendar support for FAS Project leads, coordinate meetings and workshops, and document project actions and tasks.
  4. Ensure compliance with internal project management methodologies and support governance by producing relevant reports for the Project Director and governance board.
  5. Oversee contract administration processes, including workflow establishment and management of digitised building contract records.
  6. Provide financial monitoring support to the project finance lead, including invoicing and accrual processing.
  7. Maintain the construction management platform (Procore), ensuring data security, compliance, and effective documentation practices.
  8. Collaborate with Parliamentary Service teams and external contacts to foster positive relationships and ensure project requirements are met.

  1. Proven experience in a project-based role with a strong understanding of project management frameworks, including health and safety, risk management, and governance.
  2. Natural strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
  3. Excellent planning, coordination, and time-management abilities, demonstrating effective communication and relationship management skills.
  4. Self-motivated team player who can work independently, prioritise tasks under pressure, and maintain confidentiality.
  5. Commitment to health, safety, and wellbeing initiatives, along with an understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and a willingness to promote biculturalism in the workplace.

The starting salary range for this role is $70,609 - $77,958 per annum. Appointments will be based on skills and experience (please note, the full salary range extends beyond this to allow for tenure progression).
