- Support the Project Managers and Design Estimators in estimating, pre-work scoping, and developing work methodologies.
- Ensure that all work is fully planned, evaluating risks and contingencies, and identifying safety, environmental, and other influencing factors.
- Conduct site visits to evaluate progress, compliance with scope, quality of workmanship, and completeness of tasks.
- Supervise and support a team, ensuring clear communication, the successful delegation of tasks, and continuous development of team members.
- Ensure all health, safety, quality, and environmental standards are met, proactively addressing any issues or challenges.
- Competitive remuneration based on your experience and qualifications.

- Opportunities for career development and growth within one of New Zealand's leading utility contractors.
- Access to a well-being program, including Peer Support Network (Kaitiaki) and EAP services.
- A range of retail discounts and other employee benefits.
We're looking for an experienced supervisor who is passionate about safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Proven experience in supervising teams, particularly in LV and HV distribution and zone substations.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make decisions quickly and effectively.
- Ability to organise and plan your workload and that of others to meet deadlines and achieve results.
- Solid understanding of health, safety, quality, and environmental requirements (HSQE).
- A current NZ driver's licence (Class 1).
- Computer literacy in Microsoft Word and Excel (Entry-level minimum).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with your team, clients, and other stakeholders.
- A customer-focused approach with a commitment to enhancing Northpower's brand and reputation.
