An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled and enthusiastic Marketing Manager to join the Ticketek New Zealand team on a 12 month maternity leave contract. Keen to try out client side? We're looking for someone hungry for results paired with digital marketing and strategy expertise and enthusiasm to join the Ticketek marketing team. Reporting into the NZ General Manager and working within the Senior Management Team, this role will work across all marketing areas with a real focus on driving success for Ticketek's clients through some of New Zealand's largest owned marketing channels. As the Marketing Manager, you will develop and oversee the execution of tailored marketing plans for events across New Zealand with the primary goal of increasing ticket sales.

To meet commercial objectives for our partners, you will have a suite of owned channels plus a wide range of bespoke Ticketek marketing and sales tools at your disposal.

You will be a go-to contact for our partners - confident reporting on marketing performance and trends and able to make recommendations using these insights to foster trusting and profitable relationships.

The Marketing Manager is also responsible for paid marketing revenue, affiliate and third party marketing and partnerships.

You will have two direct reports; a Marketing Executive (responsible for campaign delivery and reporting) and a Digital & Content Specialist (responsible for website and technical ticket builds).

Requirements

The Role

As Marketing Manager, your role will include:

  • Campaign management and analysis
  • Reporting, tracking and distributing information
  • Budget and revenue management
  • Build and implement growth strategies

The Person

As Marketing Manager, you will have:

  • Min. 5 years marketing experience
  • Commercially-minded with an understanding of business needs and financial performance drivers
  • Great client relationship skills, with the ability to decode information and make recommendations on marketing strategy
  • Team leadership skills to provide support and mentorship for 2x direct reports
  • Strong, well-rounded experience managing and executing marketing campaigns across a variety of channels
  • Highly organised and self-motivated with the ability to lead projects
  • Understanding of CRM systems
  • Have strong negotiation skills and confidence communicating with clients
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritise, and balance time across multiple events, partner relationships, and internal initiatives on a daily basis
  • High attention to detail and professionalism, even whilst working under pressure and delivering against deadlines
  • Relevant degree and/or business qualification preferred
  • Passion for sport and the live entertainment industry
  • Enjoy attending live events
