The Opportunity:

We are currently seeking Cashiers to join our Dunedin-based team in our Cash Services Division. If you're looking for a career in a stable, essential industry, this is your opportunity.

About the role:

As a Cashier, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of cash services—an essential function that remains operational even during business closures. Our division supports banks, businesses, and commercial clients, ensuring reliable access to cash across the Dunedin region.

This is a physically active role that requires standing for long periods, lifting, and handling cash manually or with machines in a secure, 24/7 monitored facility. You must be comfortable working in a secure confined environment, with artificial lighting only.

Key Responsibilities:

• Packing, counting, and verifying cash (both manually and using machinery).
• Working efficiently as part of a team to meet strict deadlines and targets.
• Maintaining accuracy and focus in a fast-paced environment.

Mandatory Requirements:

To progress through the recruitment process, you must consent to and be able to satisfy pre-employment checks, including:

• Driver's License, Credit Checks, Ministry of Justice Criminal History and Immigration checks.
• Residency & Work Eligibility – You must currently reside in Dunedin and be legally eligible to work in New Zealand.
