Our Partner is the latest, purpose built Private Surgical Facility in the Auckland region and as they near their first 12 months in operation, they offer an environment of 4 Theatres and 20 Beds with their surgical specialities including ENT, General Surgery, Neurosurgery, Orthopedics, Paediatrics, Plastics, Spinal, Urology and Vascular surgeries.

The Role
As a Leader you will be taking ownership of our team of experienced Techs and RNAAs. You will work closely with the Theatre Manager and develop processes and resources to ensure the team is well supported and can deliver on their goals, both professionally and personally.
- Take charge of the allocation of lists, prioritise the flow of the day, whilst also paying special attention to skill matching and developing the team.
- Assist with Rostering and ensure your team is able to meet the needs of Hospital.
- Holistic responsibility for the team when it comes to managing the flow of the day to day operations.
- Work as a Role Model for the team - Embody the best version of Leadership possible.
- Lead by example and showcase what clinical quality and excellence looks like in practice.
- Provide supervision and support to the team, where required.
- NZ Anaesthetic tech experience (or comparative Healthcare Systems e.g. ODP or Anaesthetic Nurse) - Minimum of 5 years experience as an AT.
- NZ registration to work as an AT. (We are not able to explore candidates who have supervision requirements to their registration, given the nature of this role).
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team.
- Commitment to personal and professional development.
- Australian/New Zealand Residency or be eligible to apply for a work visa.
- $117,000 per annum.
