What you will do each day:
- Effectively lead and manage the teams through high quality recruitment, orientation, communication, coaching, development, performance management and engagement of all staff.
- Hold team meetings to inform, hold to account, identify opportunities and/or problems, and manage these well and in a timely way.
- Efficient management: costs well managed, low error rates, exceptional customer service and a focus on continuous improvement.
- Leading and coaching your team to achieve excellent customer service.
- Building strong relationships with trade customers and generate new customer leads.
- Manage the day to day health and safety for the branch.
- Oversee the Trade Counter and the Warehouse working alongside our Branch Manager, to ensure we are providing Fasteners Fast services to our trade counter customers.
- Warehouse duties such as picking, packing and checking orders.
- With a high level knowledge of fasteners, the NZ fastener industry and international fastener procurement.
- With people leadership experience.
- Who has excellent communication skills and time management.
- With good computer skills.
