Job Title: Lecturer - Carpentry

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate trade qualified Carpenter to join our team as a Lecturer. As a Lecturer, you will play a vital role in shaping the next generation of tradespeople and contributing to the success of our students.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to share your knowledge and experience with students, while also continuing to develop your own skills and expertise. You will be responsible for teaching theory and practical skills to students, with a focus on hands-on learning and real-world application.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise practical activities and ensure students are meeting learning objectives
  • Prepare and deliver lessons to students, including theory and practical components
  • Manage building sites and ensure timely completion of projects
  • Procure materials and resources as needed
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of industry-relevant courses
  • Participate in quality and compliance activities to ensure high standards are maintained

Requirements
  • Trade qualification in Carpentry
  • Industry experience and a strong understanding of building practices and regulations
