Job Title: Converting Department Team Member

We are seeking three talented individuals to join our Converting Department at our Porirua Plant, working variable shift hours across a 5-day per week shift pattern.

About the Role:

  • Setup and operate a bag converting machine as directed by the Shift Team Leader.
  • Ensure product specifications are adhered to while accurately completing process paperwork.
  • Conduct quality checks and perform regular in-line checks.
  • Perform housekeeping duties, including cleaning the machine and work area according to schedule.
  • Carry out process maintenance as required.

About the Person:

  • Prior experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and great communication skills.
  • Ability to work unsupervised and have good technical learning capability.
  • Reliability, safety consciousness, and attention to detail.
