We are seeking a senior Physiotherapist that is ready for a new challenge.
The Community Health Service has a unique opportunity available for someone wanting to take the next step in their career.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Physiotherapist to join the innovative and passionate team within the Community Health Service.
The preferred applicant will have a passion for mentoring and coaching others, workforce development and innovative service development to join our team as a Clinical Coach.
As a Clinical Coach, you will work in conjunction with the Clinical Lead to ensure we provide high quality, evidence based practice throughout the Community Health Service.
The role will support the development of an interdisciplinary workforce delivering care within a restorative approach and ensure service delivery meets the wider needs of the Counties Manukau community.
You will be required to contribute to clinical supervision, training, workforce development and innovative service development across the Community Physiotherapy team, support student placements and supervision of Community Health Assistants.
You will also have the opportunity to maintain your own clinical caseload whilst coaching other Physiotherapists who are new to the service, recently graduated, or working on particular aspects of their own professional development.
Support in this role will be offered by the Clinical Director - Allied Health Scientific and Technical, Clinical Lead for Physiotherapy, and wider Community Health Service leadership team.
We are seeking someone who is a great team player, capable of working in a culturally diverse environment, has great organisational and supervisory skills and is an open and approachable educator.
Essential:
- NZ Registration with a current Annual Practising Certificate
- Minimum of 5 years recent clinical experience
- Full drivers licence
Desirable:
- Experience in clinical education and supervision
- Recent experience working in a community setting
- Experience in service development
