What You'll Be Doing | Mō te Tūranga
Bring your technical expertise and leadership to ensure the successful execution of infrastructure engineering projects and activities.

  • Contribute to project planning, including defining technical tasks, estimating effort, and providing insights into technical feasibility.
  • Take the lead in addressing complex technical issues and challenges. Provide guidance to the team in troubleshooting problems and identifying effective solutions.
  • Help guide career development paths, offer constructive feedback, and support the growth of individual team members.
  • Actively participate in infrastructure engineering and design tasks by setting infrastructure standards, review changes and contributions from team members, and ensure that the NZAA infrastructure adheres to best practices
  • Oversee the creation and maintenance of technical documentation, including design documents

About You | Mōu
To be successful in this role, you will have

  • Proven track record of effectively leading and developing teams of IT professionals
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic IT plans aligned with overall business goals
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements and experience implementing and maintaining IT governance frameworks (e.g., ITIL, COBIT)
  • Track record of evaluating emerging technologies and assessing their potential impact on the organisation
  • Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure, including proficiency in infrastructure as code and networks, particularly experienced with platforms such as Azure, AWS, Cisco Meraki, and Fortinet.
