Multiple Positions; training provided:
Sign Maker 2:30pm to 11pm; $24 p/hour + nightshift allowance**:
Screenprint Operator 2:30 to 11pm; $$25 p/hour + nightshift allowance:
Engineering Operator 6am to 2:30pm; $26 p/hour
These positions would suit anyone who is motivated, enjoys being challenged at work, and is keen to be involved in all aspects of sign manufacturing.
SIGN MAKER
Tasks include:
- Making signs and other related products
- Ensuring that tools and machinery are maintained and kept in good order
- Ensuring that working areas are kept clean and tidy at all times
- Other ad hoc factory duties, as required
Skills and Attributes:
- Previous assembly or signage work an advantage
- Good attention to detail
- Physically fit and able to work on feet for duration of shift
- A genuine desire to upskill and learn
- Reliable and punctual
SCREENPRINT OPERATOR
Tasks include:
- Set up machine to meet required specifications, monitor production, and inspect the finished products to ensure they meet specifications
- Monitor inventory to ensure raw materials are replenished in timely manner
- Assist the Factory Manager, Production Planner, and Production Supervisor and carry out additional duties, when needed
- Learn Sign Making, as there may be times when cover is required
Skills and Attributes:
- Previous Machine Operator experience ideal
- Ability to follow instructions/machine software
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Good mechanical aptitude
- Willingness to also learn other jobs within the factory
ENGINEERING OPERATOR
Tasks include:
- Cutting of aluminium sheets
- Shaping panels
- Attach extrusion materials to panels
- Lift and move heavy panels
- Learn sign making and screen printing, as cover may be required
Skills and Attributes:
- Previous experience with pressers/welding equipment/guillotines/metal fabrication
- Excellent mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Physically fit to endure being on your feet throughout entire shift
- Able to handle heavy lifting (up to 25kg)
- Willingness to learn other jobs
