Tiles R Us Limited is a company specialising in high-level tiling services that ensure clients receive exceptional results. We are currently seeking a Trainer Tiler to join our team in Christchurch.

Tasks:

  • Load and unload tools, equipment, and materials and transport them to various construction sites.
  • Conduct presite cleaning to ensure the work area is ready and blemishfree for tiling.
  • Assist with preparing wall and floor surfaces by removing old tiles, grout, and adhesives, as well as filling holes and cracks.
  • Help with mixing, pouring, and spreading selfleveling screed, grout, sealant, and inserting spaces.
  • Assist with spreading adhesive onto prepared surfaces and tiles, and setting tiles in position.
  • Help with laying wall and floor tiles, as well as cutting and shaping tiles according to specifications.
  • Ability to learn from skilled tilers and follow instructions.
  • Clean the job site once the work is completed and maintain clean tools.
Remuneration will be $ $31.50 per hour and paid weekly. This is a full-time role, based in Christchurch, with a minimum of 30 hours per week.

Requirements:

  • Good health and personal hygiene, ability to pass drug and alcohol tests.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings, late evenings, and weekends if required.

Pay:
$ $33.50 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week
