Our Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Packaging Technologist to join our Research & Development team to help achieve our New Product Development strategies.

You will take ownership for the project management and development of packaging solutions to achieve Brand plans, value engineering targets, and sustainability goals of Goodman Fielder packaging.


Your accountabilities will include:

  • Take ownership for the delivery of packaging projects for new products and improvements to existing product packaging
  • Packaging analysis including factory and transport trials and providing insights for improvement
  • Develop project timelines and key milestones whilst managing stakeholder expectations
About you

To make this role a success we are looking for someone who has a background in packaging and managing projects, preferably with experience in numerous different types of food and beverage packaging.


Other skills and experiences we are looking for include:

  • Degree qualification in Packaging Technology, Food Technology, or Material Sciences
  • A working knowledge of the packaging industry including trends and sustainability movements
  • Prior experience as a Packaging Technologist, multiple packaging types would be highly advantageous
  • Experience in managing endtoend projects including an ability to demonstrate ownership and drive initiatives
