About the Role

Reporting to the Project Manager, this Transmission Gully Supervisor role will suit someone who has solid and proven experience in team leading ideally in the Construction or Civil/Roading industry in New Zealand.

You will provide on-site and off-site supervision of all team members ensuring works are completed by contract requirements while maintaining safety, quality, budget, and timeframes.


Responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):

  • Manage the Network Steward Roster/ shifts.
  • Ensuring all resources are effectively allocated to ensure efficiencies gained (i.e. Crew and Plant)
  • Supervision and Support to Field Crew and Plant Maintenance

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have experience in Road maintenance/ civil road construction, sealing methods drainage construction, and/ or maintenance projects.

Proven leadership skills with the ability to plan and problem-solve will be key to your success in this role.

You will also need to be a team player; self-motivated; and have a flexible and proactive approach in handling client needs; as well as the below:

  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated experience in building and managing a team.
  • Proven experience in site budget management, site administration
  • Class 1 & 2 NZ Drivers License
  • Relevant Temporary Traffic Management qualification
  • Able to show initiative and demonstrate a level of professionalism as expected of this role.
  • Ability to foresee challenges, read situations, and respond efficiently and effectively with a strong safety focus.
