We currently have opportunities at two of our centres.

    Te Ako o Te Tui Early Childhood Centre welcomes inspired (and inspiring),
    Early Childhood Kaiako to join our passionate and supportive teaching whānau. These roles have become available due to Kaiako moving into center leadership roles or moving overseas.

Hineteiwaiwa Te Kōhunga Reo welcomes passionate
Early Childhood Kaiako, who is comfortable and confident in their knowledge of te reo and tikanga Māori, to join our teaching whānau.

Qualifications:

He kōrero mōu | About you


You will be a kind, empathetic and reliable Kaiako, who brings energy and light into our home away from home.


  • B Ed/Dip Teaching Level 7 (ECE) and current teacher registration/certification
  • Good understanding of a tamaiti led curriculum, planning and extending on our tamariki learning
  • First Aid (ideally but not necessary)
  • Ideally 2 years experience working with infants and toddlers.
Our
Kōhunga Reo requires Applicants working towards or committed to complete a Te Tohu Mātauranga Whakapakari Tino Rangatiratanga.

  • You will be committed to the Kaupapa of giving to your community which involved supporting tangi, Kohanga Reo Trust, blessings, Noho Marae, Matariki to name a few.
  • Embody a growth mindset; be open and willing to reflect and change as we continue to evolve in our Kaupapa
  • Te Ara Tuapae.
