About the role
Come and join our faculty team in a coaching role for teaching and learning.

You will work among a small and enthusiastic team of coaches to encourage the growth of our academic staff as they prepare our tauira with real world skills and mindsets to contribute to our communities.

This is a full-time permanent position, working 37.5 hours per week.

  • Coach and work effectively with teams of kaiako and their leaders to foster a culture of robust teaching and learning practices and processes that centre the experience of our tauira.
  • Adapt to the personalities and needs of those you are working with, as well as unexpected situations a varied and inspiring toolkit of approaches to connect with and support kaiako in their development is essential.
  • Enable kaiako to be comfortable with a rapidly changing teaching and learning context, while supporting our tauira to do the same.
  • Support our kaiako to be confident with online delivery technologies and resource development.
  • Although we need people who can have the occasional conversation about accountability, we do not depend on a hierarchical style of influencing or telling others what to do.
