Job responsibilities

  • Under the guidance of the Senior Accreditation Manager
  • NZ and in collaboration with FIFA Accreditation team members and colleagues in Australia, New Zealand, and Zurich, the Venue Accreditation Coordinator, will be responsible for coordination, planning and implementation of the accreditation process for FIFA's constituent groups i.e., FIFA and LFS staff, volunteers, suppliers, media and broadcasters, medical personnel, host cities/host country personnel, inspection bodies, observers, commercial affiliates, and safety & security personnel in New Zealand.

Your role as a Venue Accreditation Coordinator includes the following responsibilities:

  • Contributing to the success of the FIFA Women's World Cup 2023 by delivering the accreditation program on time and to the required standards.
  • Contributing to and supporting all operations of the relevant Accreditation Centre(s), including but not limited to, pass production and distribution, supervising all accreditation staff and volunteers onsite, and supporting issue resolution and troubleshooting activities in coordination with the FIFA and LFS Accreditation Constituent Group teams, as needed.
  • Contributing to the development of the Accreditation Privilege Matrix in cooperation with FIFA Accreditation, in order to provide accreditation holders with the appropriate accreditation device and access entitlements that enable them to perform their roles efficiently at the right place and the right time.
  • Contributing to and supporting the training of all Venue Accreditation staff that are appointed for the main tournament, before being deployed as a Venue Accreditation Coordinator.
  • Liaising with all members of the venue team(s) to disseminate and clarify key information regarding the implementation of accreditation operations, policies and procedures, and to ensure seamless client services and efficient operations onsite.
  • Contributing to the success of the FIFA Women's World Cup 2023 by delivering the accreditation program on time and to the required standards.
  • Engaging with the FIFA Women's World Cup 2023 departments; communication and presentation of specific guidelines and supporting materials with regard to the accreditation processes.
  • Developing and implementing accreditation policies and procedures, in accordance with general FIFA accreditation policies and procedures, in order to set rules that establish boundaries, limits or fully describe the operations and/or services.
  • Coordinating the accreditation card distribution within reasonable timeframes to the constituent groups.
  • Engaging in developing training materials (i.e., Accreditation manual, guidelines etc.) and providing adequate training to colleagues from other departments in cooperation with FIFA Accreditation.
  • Contributing to and supporting the supervision of issue resolution processes for the accreditation constituent group(s).
  • Supporting the management of accreditation consumables stock management/control and coordinating with the Accreditation Operations Team to replenish stock, as required.
  • Contributing to and supporting the supervision of rosters for accreditation staff and volunteers deployed to the Accreditation Centre(s).
  • Assisting other accreditation roles as and when required.

Qualifications, experience and skills

  • Customer care and professional background in the international sporting event industry, preferably within the Accreditation sector. Experience in FIFA events is an asset.
  • Proven experience in the development and management of accreditation process operations in international events.
  • Excellent communicator with a serviceoriented approach.
