As Fetal Medicine Midwife Specialist you will work closely with the Fetal Medicine Team under High Risk Maternity as part of the multidisciplinary team that includes MFM Specialists, Neonatologists, Paediatric Cardiology teams and other Paediatric Subspecialists.

Nga Pūkenga Motuhake | Important Skills

As Fetal Medicine Midwife Specialist you will work closely with the Fetal Medicine Team under High Risk Maternity as part of the multidisciplinary team that includes MFM Specialists, Neonatologists, Paediatric Cardiology teams and other Paediatric Subspecialists.


Some of your duties would include:

  • Providing on-going midwifery care and support
  • Coordination of care for tertiary level women
  • Providing care and support to those women and their whanau experiencing a pregnancy with a fetal anomaly and/or loss.
Previous Maternal/Fetal Medicine experience is an advantage but not essential. Evidence of previous or on-going relevant post graduate or community midwifery experience is desired.
