InterGroup are New Zealand's Infrastructure and Industrial Services specialists, delivering services in waste management, industrial and coatings and infrastructure.

You would be working for the Vac U Digga NZ business which is now a part of Intergroup and this association has expanded our hydro excavation fleet by approx.

35 plus adds 2 soil remediation plants to our capability (Auckland and Christchurch). Vac U Digga are NZ's Hydro Excavation Specialists, you will be trained to become a Hydro Excavation Operator.

About the role


Calling all Class 1, 2/2L and 4/4L drivers This is an excellent opportunity for those who are wanting to kickstart their career, for people wanting to try something new, or already have experience.

No experience is necessary as all the required training will be provided. You will eventually get trained to be a hydro excavator.

We will train you to be a fully competent hydro excavator, however the technical stuff you'll need includes:

  • Strong Customer service skills
  • Full class 1 essential (Class 2/4 would be desirable but not essential, we can help with obtaining them)
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and unsupervised.
  • A solid work ethic, be punctual and reliable.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
This role will provide a challenging yet rewarding work experience.
